3/8/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved QMHPA greeted Kaila upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Kaila appeared to be in a positive mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHPA inquired about her morning. QMHPA informed Kaila that this session was going to focus on being able to solve her problems to reduce depressive symptoms and implementing additional ways to assist her with implementing learned coping skills. Upon arrival, she did not present any symptoms of S/I. QMHPA began the session by inquiring about Kaila current thoughts, feelings, and emotions. QMHPA engaged Kaila in a discussion to determine if she ever sits down and take the time out to think about how to solve some of the problems that she encounters on a daily basis that may involve her and the oneâs that does not involve her. QMHPA engaged Kaila in a skills building activity. QMHPA explained to Kaila that the purpose of this activity was to allow her to identify those triggers that cause her to become angry and depressed. QMHPA explained to Kaila that sometimes and a personâs life that is filled with anger and frustration are caused by real inescapable problems that are happening within their life and not someone elseâs life. QMHPA engaged Kaila in another skills building activity. QMHPA explained to Kaila that the purpose of this activity was to educate Kaila on how all anger problems are sometimes misplaced and itâs often a healthy natural response to these difficulty situations. QMHPA stressed to Kaila the importance of focusing on having the best attitude to bring out the best in her when feeling angry or frustrated. QMHPA encouraged Kaila to focus on finding the solution to the problems that she is encountering in her life; however, at times it is best to focus on how to handle the situation in another manner and face the problem with reality. QMHPA encouraged Kaila to give her best effort when she is faced with a problem that she is not capable of handling without utilizing profanity or wanting to handle the situation in another manner. At the end of the session, QMHPA explained to Kaila that if she demonstrates the ability to have patience she wouldnât have to deal with so much stress and anger due to the situation and problem fading away on its own. Kaila appeared to be receptive to QMHPAâs interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Kaila indicated to QMHPA that she really did not care to hear about resolving conflict in a healthy manner because that is not her. She indicated that when she has taken her medication and it has been in her system for a long period of time, then she really doesnât care what the problem is because the medication allows her to be in another world as oppose to what she is experiencing with whomever. Kaila indicated that she continued to try to hold her composure at times but she feels as though people like to test her because they know that she is not a quiet person and she is going to say whatever is on her mind.
